What We’re About

Our vision is to fulfill the Greatest Commandments (Matthew 22:37-39) by obeying the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) using the one of the greatest kingdom-building methods of all time: church planting.

Consider the book of Acts. The story of Acts is about how Jesus Christ spread the good news about the love of God by sending out his followers to plant seeds of hope in the lives of those searching for God. When the seeds sprouted and grew, people became followers of Jesus and churches were born. We believe that this method of evangelism is still is one of Jesus’ primary strategies for growing His kingdom today.

Duplicating Jesus’ strategy. Jesus left His home and came to our world, lived among us, ate our food, became the friend of sinners, and as a result we came to know God through Him. Jesus’ strategy was three-pronged. First, He was missional: He was on God’s mission in our world (Luke 19:10), accepted and loved people where He found them, and pointed them to God (John 8:11). Second, He was culturally relevant: He hung out with people, ate their food, dressed like them, and spoke the language of the common man (Matthew 9:1-12), while finding ways to help them connect to God. Third, He was incarnational: He was God among the people, showing them what God was like through word and deed (Matt 9:5; John 14:8-9).

And so like Jesus, we immerse ourselves as missionaries in the various facets of culture as people sent by Jesus with the life-saving message of the gospel (John 20:21). Like Jesus, we build authentic friendships with all kinds of people in all kinds of places with the hope of sharing the love of God with them. Like Jesus, we take the truth to people whoever and wherever they are, meeting both spiritual and physical needs (Matthew 9:35). Like Jesus, we find ways within culture to make the gospel understandable and applicable (Matthew 13:3). In addition, we follow the example of Paul the Apostle, who found ways to relate to people in the context of their lives (1 Corinthians 9:19-23). The goal is for culturally-relevant new churches and Spirit-filled new followers of Jesus who are dedicated to growing in faith and replicating this strategy in the lives of others. In other words, we're not interested in doing church, but being the church.

With a little help from our friends. Like Jesus, we cannot accomplish our mission without the help of others. Therefore, the key to fulfilling our mission is finding people who'll help us. At the top of our list are men who'll help lead the mission as pastors, teachers, and church planters (Eph 4:11-13). When we find these men, whether they come from within or without, we're committed to training, coaching, equipping, and resourcing them. Do you think you might be interested in partnering with us?

Montana is our home. But we’re also missionaries to the world. Our dream is nothing less than to start a multiplying network of churches that start churches that start churches to reach from Montana to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
